Dr. Nikola Dragojlovic earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y. He completed his internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and he completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. Dr. Dragojlovic completed additional training in brain injury medicine through his fellowship at McGovern Medical School. During his residency and fellowship training, he cared for those with unique rehabilitation and recovery needs and learned to be creative and resourceful in working with patients and their families.

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Dragojlovic cares for patients ages 18 and older. He specializes in the management of patients following concussion, traumatic brain injury, polytrauma, stroke and other neurologic disorders. He also performs procedures for spasticity management, including botulinum toxin injections and neurolytic injections.

Dr. Dragojlovic is known for his kind and personal care, and he encourages his patients to make the most of their rehabilitation through all phases of recovery.

Throughout his career and education, Dr. Dragojlovic has been honored with multiple recognitions and awards. He was recognized with McGovern Medical School’s Physician Educator Certificate Program Award and the Martin E. Grabois, MD, Esteemed Resident Award. In addition, he currently serves as an assistant professor for the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School, and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR). He was recently appointed to the Program Committee of the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP).

In his spare time, Dr. Dragojlovic enjoys traveling, staying active and visiting Houston-area parks and restaurants with his wife.
