Dr. Michael Greaser earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he served as chief administrative resident. He then completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In practice since 2008, Dr. Greaser specializes in foot and ankle sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery.  His clinical interests include foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacement, foot and ankle arthritis and trauma, foot deformity correction, bunions, hammertoes and diabetic foot disorders. He treats patients from age 10 and up.

Dr. Greaser strives to offer all available treatment options to his patients based on their individual goals and expectations. His philosophy is to rehabilitate patients without surgery first if possible. For patients requiring surgery, he provides surgical treatment options which allow the quickest return to activity. 

A member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Greaser is a team physician for the University of Houston athletics and serves as foot and ankle consultant for athletics at the University of St. Thomas and Houston Baptist University. 

Residents of the Texas Medical Center area, Dr. Greaser and his wife have two children. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding, baseball and traveling.
